|PERTH - Kerry O'Sullivan|
Kerry O'Sullivan is the Executive Director of The Blue Room Theatre in Perth. Since graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2002, Kerry has been involved in the independent theatre arts and comedy scene in Perth as a producer, director, writer, performer, publicist and stage manager.
With experience in many different aspects of theatre, Kerry has been interested in learning every part of production and hopefully that knowledge can be of benefit to emerging independent producers who come through The Blue Room Theatre. She produced and directed Five Unenviable Lives, (Winner, The Blue Room Theatre Members' Choice Award), Starkers and Risky Lunar Love for theatre and is the co-creator and producer of Barefaced Stories that brought international Storyteller Margot Leitman to Perth (The Moth, Upright Citizens Brigade NYC) to train local artists and brought Brian Finkelstein (The Moth, Ellen) over to The Blue Room Theatre for 2012. Kerry was recently invited to the New York International Fringe Festival as the Australian Coordinator and was chosen to be a judging panelist for Absolut Fringe Dublin.
